If you spend long hours sitting, you've tried multiple different chairs, constantly moving in your chair to find a comfortable position or maybe it is shooting down your leg, these tips are for you.

  1. Get Rid Of The Wallet - The wallet puts your pelvis in an uneven position, which then puts more weight into one glute.

  2. Don't Always Sit On One Side - Oftentimes we find ourselves leaning in one direction. If we're working on a computer, using our mouse, or resting our arm on an armrest we can unknowingly be on one side. Try to keep your pelvis in a neutral position with your weight evenly distributed.

  3. Don't Cross Your Legs - Crossing your legs puts all your weight into one side of your glute, putting a lot of pressure on the piriformis. That can cause some irritation.

  4. Don’t Sleep with your legs crossed - If you are a side sleeper, put a pillow between your legs. It keeps your pelvis in a neutral position, keeping the pelvis in a neutral position. It prevents you from stretching those little ligaments in your hip.

  5. Shorten Your Gait - Shorten the way that you walk, and walk with a quicker stride. It prevents you from taking those long steps that can pull into your hip joints.
