Today I'm going to go over a few of my favorite low back stretches for anyone who sits the majority of their day. These will be great for you to incorporate every day, periodically throughout the day.
The first thing we need to preach is if these stretches or exercises cause you more discomfort then stop and consult with your chiropractor.
Tip #1: Make sure you are taking movement breaks and try not to sit for more than 30 minutes at a time. Stand up, walk around, stretch your hip flexors, and just decompress your spine.
Exercise #1: Hand-assisted stranding low back extensions
Exercise #2: Overhead full-body extensions
Exercise #3: Lunging psoas stretch
